Hi Bob, I spoke to you a minute ago from W.A.(Western Australia) about my HD holden. I am pulling the quarter-vent widows out to put rubbers-on, and my questions are:-
1. Do i have to pull the whole quarter-vent window out-off the door-frame to work on it ...as a nut is stopping it come out?
2 Are there any problems replacing the rivets holding the quarter window to the chrome strip around the window?
3. Are there any problems with undoing and replacing the NUT holding the base of the quarter window?
Regards David PH.089337 9514 --- If anyone can help David, please

Does anyone know what car this dash panel belongs to. Jeroen from Belgium is wanting to find out its origins please. Read his letter here.
Dear Sir, Madam,
I'm looking for the car details of the enclosed Intstrument cluster from 1960-1970s car. It has Rectangular gauges, speedometer, turnsignals. As far as I'm aware it was a common car at the time, also in the UK so it might even be a right-hand drive (thus with the speedometer being on the other side?)
I think the image shows the back of the cluster, I'm looking for the original part, for a personal project. The image shows a cast of the original piece but I cannot identify any part numbers.
I hope that you are able to help me identify the brand / model to get my project going.
If you have an idea please contact us Thanks, Bob. ----- P.S. That is a 1 foot/12 inch ruler behind.

See this Screamin Weekender video. Spot the Mk 2 Ford Zodiac.
It could be a Mk 2 Ford Zephyr with a Zodiac grille fitted of course. A lot of people fitted the Ford Zodiac grilles to Ford Zephyrs.
The car is also an early model because of the thin chrome fittings on the screen and the painted headlight surrounds.
What has happened to all the classic cars in general. The car companies are in trouble and they are selling cars which have no appeal. Bring back the fins.

Restoration in General
Restorations of these cars generate a huge amount of interest amongst people of varying walks of life.
There’s nothing better than going to a car show or swap meet and swapping yarns with other enthusiasts, and finding out some more little bits of information about your classic. Then it’s off home to see if the information and or parts deliver the goods or not.
Some people know so much detail about certain vehicles that they are indeed experts in that field. Sometimes because of their knowledge they then become traders. It’s never dull to go to a classic car show and check out the vehicles on display. You just never know who you might see also.
