Bendigo swap meetBendigo Swap Meet By all accounts the Bendigo National Swap Meet was a huge success once again on November the 18th and 19th 2006.
Their souvenir guide indicated that there were some 1500 sites occupied by enthusiastic swappers. The Bendigo Exhibition Centre which was opened in 2005 presented a display by the Police Historical Society and was also the centre of the show and shine. Bendigo National Swap Meet Souvenir Guide For those people who may not know there is a souvenir guide available, here is a photo of the front cover for your information. You can make sure that you obtain one for 2007.
The front cover is certainly nice and bright. There is a lot of information provided, including photos of classic cars, and the Victorian Police Historical Society vehicles.
Please visit their website here . There are stories about John Dunlop the tyre inventor, the history of the Ferris Radio, the FX Holden and many others. There is a centre spread showing club members cars. Presumably the Veteran, Vintage & Classic Club, Bendigo. Bendigo District RSL The Bendigo District RSL is also promoted on the back cover. No doubt you can relax in the friendly atmosphere over there while talking about all the great parts you found at the swap.
