There are many people who own or are looking for a classic car which they can work on and restore over a period of time.
Some people want to buy their classic car already restored while others do not really care so long as they are able to collect the car of their dreams.
Whether or not your car is restored or not you will still need to start collecting some classic car parts and spares for it.
Things like brake and master cylinder kits, new badges and chrome pieces, nice new hub caps, and taillights are just some of the spares which are collected.
The other thing about collecting classic car parts for your classic is the travelling to distant areas to look for and buy a spares car.
If you are able to organize a trailer and can go away to pick up a spares car it is sometimes a really good move, because you get the whole car with everything on it (hopefully).
Usually you will buy very competitively this way, because as soon as parts are dismantled their individual value rises.

1. Do i have to pull the whole quarter-vent window out-off the door-frame to work on it ...as a nut is stopping it come out?
2 Are there any problems replacing the rivets holding the quarter window to the chrome strip around the window?
3. Are there any problems with undoing and replacing the NUT holding the base of the quarter window? Regards David PH.089337 9514 ---

Does anyone know what car this dash panel belongs to. Jeroen from Belgium is wanting to find out its origins please. Read his letter here.
Dear Sir, Madam,
I'm looking for the car details of the enclosed Intstrument cluster from 1960-1970s car. It has Rectangular gauges, speedometer, turnsignals. As far as I'm aware it was a common car at the time, also in the UK so it might even be a right-hand drive (thus with the speedometer being on the other side?)
I think the image shows the back of the cluster, I'm looking for the original part, for a personal project. The image shows a cast of the original piece but I cannot identify any part numbers.
I hope that you are able to help me identify the brand / model to get my project going.
If you have an idea please contact us Thanks, Bob. ----- P.S. That is a 1 foot/12 inch ruler behind.
