The emotion of buying the car and getting it at all costs is very overpowering, the “I must have it” feeling is hard to fight off. Your friend or associate may already own a similar car, and he has always bragged that you would never own one as good as his. Now’s your chance, but will it fit in with the other cars in the garage and what will the wife say? Occasionally you see a for sale notice which says "it's either the car goes or I go". Here’s a classic Ford car for sale A Mark 2 Zephyr Sedan.
This photo is a little dark but there are others which can be added later on. The car is a Mark 2 Zephyr sedan Series 2, automatic with around 100K original miles on the clock. It still has the original black and white plates in good order and was owned by a little old lady in Bundaberg for 25 plus years. The car was never driven hard and is very straight underneath with all joined steel edges flat and tight. Rust was almost non existent, even in the front corners of the bonnet and rear guards and doglegs. It steers and travels very nicely and does not rattle. The motor was pulled down, but the exact extent of the rebuild is not known. What you see is what you get. The car is situated in Mt Morgan, near Rockhampton Queensland, and the last owner’s widow would like to sell it now. When a better photo comes to hand it will be added to the page for better viewing. No doubt, this classic ford car for sale will interest a lot of Zephyr Zodiac enthusiasts.
